My name is Raquel S. Chambers Gilbert, President of Chambers Technology Development Company and Chambers Consulting Corporation.

Humble Beginnings,  In January of 1994, Where? in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania; Chambers Consulting Company was born.  When Chambers Consulting Company was formed it was best described as being a Consulting and Training, Network Integration and Infrastructure, and VAR business. In recent times the key strengths of this industry has been PC Training and Technical Support/State-of-the-art technology/Strong project management teams,and innovative IT marketing. By 2003, Chambers Consulting Company was a highly visible company known as the best in Consulting and Training, Network Integration and Infrastructure in the IT industry.

Chambers Consulting Company had to be restructured into two companies to provide better services to current clients and expand in a ever growing  and changing IT Industry.  Thus, Chambers Technology Development Company was created December 2013.  Since the IT industry is all about change, Chambers Consulting Company was incorporated in the state of Colorado on December 2013 but the name was changed to Chambers Consulting Corporation.  First  to brand our name and then to  branch off into other service segments.   Chambers Consulting Corporation provides career and job development, and certification training. Short-term and long-term consulting contracts and permanent job place.

 

Chambers Consulting Company and Chambers Technology Development Company started out as a home-based business.  While I was a student attending Robert Morris College(University) to gain much needed hands on experience in the Information Technology Industry.  

 

Chambers Consulting Company’s mission is to provide innovative, practical and top-quality products that customer’s locally, nationally and in a globalized marketplace. Our first responsibility is to the customers who utilize our products and services.  Which gives us the competitive edge in the marketplace.

 

The services that Chambers Technology Development Company provides  Technical Support/State-of-the-art technology/Strong project management team/innovative marketing. Government Compliance, Network Security Planning, Network and Infrastructure build-outs, Cloud Services, and Software Application Development.

My achievements:

Veteran in the Information Technology Industry since 1991 to the present.  Hold two higher level education degrees from accredited Universities in Management of Information Systems,BA.BS, and Information Systems Security, MS.

 

Worked in the following roles in the IT Industry over the years: Volunteer Computer Lab Technician in PC and MAC, Software Seminar Trainer for  ICM School of Business and CareerBlazers,  Adjunct Professor at Point Park College(university), Wide Area Network Engineer (CCNP and CCNA), Systems Administrator/Engineer( Novell, BMC Remedy, SANs, Citrix, Unix, Cobol, C,C++,  Microsoft, HP, DELL, IBM, CISCO, and Security Planning and Government Compliance Protocols). 

 

 

I still, love doing the day to day Systems and Network Administrator work and Desktop Support.  Yet,  I still have a drive to bring and be apart of the new technologies being developed in the world of Information Technology, TeleCommunications, NANO Technologies, and Robotics(AI).
